Day’s Run – 3 April 2019

Day came in fair and partly cloudy. Classic trade wind sailing. Blue seas and skies everywhere. A couple of flying fish flew aboard last night to the delight of at least one cat. Nice varnish going on to various teak doors. Deyan is working up the main engine’s seventh cylinder air compressor. Dirk, Erin and Carlos are working the final touches to the nice new royal yard. There is a pretty copper sink in the engine room fiddley now so engineers do not have to get the heads dirty washing their greasy hands in nice white porcelain sinks. Nice Captain’s Dinner in the mess room with Donald, Brahm, Annie, Johnny and Robert. Much discussion on the delights of Grenada and the Caribbean.
