Day’s Run – May 7, 2018

Ship’s work: After a day of “make and mend” Sunday’s rest the crew are back at it on their watches. A beautiful blue sky sunny day with a sweet breeze, all hands are turning to for some useful jobs. Sounds of chipping away rust, wire brushing metal, lathering tar on the shrouds smells great across the ship. The spanker was unbent and laid out on the quarterdeck. The sailmaker and assistants were able to mend a tear it got last night when the watch was practiing setting it. The ship’s Bosun is hard at work refitting the forward head. And a very important dinosaur meeting took place on the hatch conducted by ruler Dawson (age 5).
