We are once again under way only this time every mile we sail we draw closer to home. Preparing for entering colder waters we went through a full set of emergency procedure drills including donning immersion suits. Just before lunch we broke back into sea watches with Starboard taking 12-6 and Port 6-12. The afternoon for starboard was filled with further tiding and tightening down the ship and then helping the Bosun with the day’s ship work. At approx 1630 we began to set sails which will likely mean that Port will have a fair bit of sail handling to do during the evening. For both watches the helming is interesting as we are not quite out of lobster pot territory and have little interest in dragging the lines home with us.
