REMARKS: Today we are heading out to sea. We were underway by approx 10am this morning, waving goodbye to the historic city of New Bedford. The winds, being fairly light, allowed us the time to have another complete run through of emergency drills. The more we practice, the cooler our heads will remain should an emergency occur. Right after lunch we broke into our sea watches again and will remain so until arriving in Gloucester in a few days. It’ll be nice to be back in the routine of being out to sea.
