Goodbye hot showers and hello adventure. Today at about 1400, we said adieu to the beautiful town of Lunenburg NS and set sail for Cape Charles Virginia. The rain has held off and though the temperature is…refreshing, everyone on board is excited to be back on the water. Our new trainees are putting their recently gained knowledge to the test and are doing exceptionally well. Donald remains everybody’s best friend with his never empty giant pot of hot chocolate and meals to write home about.
SHIP’S WORK: Once we were fully underway we broke into our new watches: 12-6 and 6-12. The focus of each watch, alongside usual daily tasks, is to continue the skill development of our new trainees and introducing terms such as ‘boxing the compass’.
