Remarks: The ship woke up this morning to the sound of roosters crowing and little fishing boats zipping out to work. We brought up both anchors at the same time with the muscle power of our seasoned crew and set sail for Bequia. It was sunny and breezy and we set all sail except the gaff topsail and sailed her braced up sharp, hard on the wind until about lunch. We fired up after that and pointed her head to Bequia, motor sailing under fore and aft sail only to get in before the customs & immigration office closed. Now we are sitting in the beautiful harbour of Port Elizabeth, surrounded by colourful houses and stark headlands, gearing up for a well anticipated swim call in the turquoise water.
