Remarks: A clear sunrise was received graciously after a drizzly night on deck, our first rain since leaving Cape Town. The wind is fair and steady and the seas small. It’s that time of the week again: Sunday at sea. Our four fishing lines trailing in our wake are longing to be nibbled and Edmund is seething to reel in a big marlin. The sea water is steadily increasing and is now up to eighty degrees F which calls for an afternoon power shower on the main deck where our tar covered toes and sawdust infiltrated scalps are sudsed clean. Dawson works on a secret Mother’s Day project, Sophia glues up her new sheath for one of her three swords. Spring works on refurbishing one of Captain’s beautifully carved ukuleles from Raratonga. You find it hard to complain about much of anything on a such a lovely day.
