Remarks: Yesterday evening we crossed back into the tropics, the fourth time we have crossed the latitude 23°27’S on this voyage. The wind backs throughout the night and in the morning we wear ship at the change of watch. Now the ship’s heading is pointed back towards St. Helena instead of Brazil. Clara and Dee get the outer jib bent back on after taking it off for work on the head rig in Cape Town. The water temperature is finally back up into the 70s; maybe people will start doing their laundry now that it isn’t shockingly cold to touch. A sextant workshop is planned for this afternoon. Hopefully the sun comes out to play!
