Remarks: Sailed away from Papeete on a beautiful day. Those with flower leis tossed them into the sea at the pass through the reef to ensure a likely return to Tahiti. We set all sail and passed by a couple humpback whales cavorting just off the reef. Then sailed by Mo’orea passing in its lee before stretching our legs bound for Tonga 1,300 miles away.
