Remarks: The temperature was noticeably cooler last night with people showing up for watch in long pants for the first time in many many months. The engine is on now and we are motoring with very little apparent wind and it feels quite hot. The fore topmast stays’l was unbent and Bruce and Benita are working on reinforcing the bolt rope. Sara is making good progress on roping the outer jib. She is concluding her class on deck general today which has been running every day since we left Anguilla. Nate and Ansleigh work on finishing up a monthly safety inspection. Idlers sit on deck in precious patches of shade and take in the bright white cumulus meandering overhead and the sparkle of the waves on the cerulean sea.
