Remarks: Light winds slowly backing. Glassy undulating sea. Swells coming from a band of odd west winds to our NW. Awnings set again to break the sun. Half-day saturday. Sara, Toad, Liam and Alex cut down and rebend the fore t’gallant, Diane paints the bulwarks on the aloha deck, Leo varnishes the starboard quarterdeck ladder. Sextants out in force on this sunny blue day. Tropical storm yet to form but expect it will do astern of us as we scoot out of the way bound for Reunion.
