Remarks: A hot day motoring along under topsails, fore sail and fore and aft sails as we push ahead to avoid bad weather. A pretty and sunny day though. Saw two Taiwanese long-line fishing boats and their gear. Wonder what they do to avoid storms, if anything? Liam and Alex loose t’gallants and royals to dry from the last few days of rain. Spring and Rachel repair the flying jib, Christiane ropes the foot of a new lower topsail. Sara takes a noon sight, Clara overhauls blocks. Dan caulks on the quarterdeck. As we roll along ever westward.
