Last night was another clear and beautiful night, the moon was so bright it’s hard to tell when it’s dawn. Ship’s cat Fiji was slinking about in the moonlight she seems to be enjoying it. Towards 5:30 it started to cloud over and there were lightning flashes beginning. As the morning wore on it turned to squalls, which was exciting because it means lots of sail handling. It’s so warm that even in driving rain you are fine in a t-shirt and shorts, pretty big contrast to the cold passage out of Lunenburg.
