Day’s Run – March 18, 2018

By Cara Lauzon

We had an amazing afternoon of sailing yesterday with so many different things going on, then as the sun was setting the wind died and we took sail and began motoring. We woke this morning to a clear sky and Sunday at sea. We are still motoring, rolling a bit but the weather is gorgeous. Since there is a break in ship’s work we had a nice music jam on the well deck. Some of the crew are in their Sunday finest, wearing vests and dresses. Liz has kindly baked cookies for everybody and kept a constant flow of them coming at us all morning. It’s been a beautiful day and because it is cook Donald’s day off, Annie is our cook for the day.
