Day’s Run – August 3, 2015

Believe it or not the attached picture is the best I could do at capturing the dolphins that were frolicking under the headrig this morning at dawn. It was such a beautiful sight, especially since it is one of our last mornings out to sea. Today’s ship work included a lot of smaller painting projects that were going well under full steam until a fog rolled in at approx 1545 and brought completion to a halt. Fortunately there is always tomorrow.

SHIP’S WORK: Second coat of black on mizzen lower shroud turnbuckles; painted aloha deck waterways; spot painted t’gallant rails; spot painted bullworks on well deck; spot primed sailmakers bench; primed interior of Sea Never Dry.
