REMARKS: The rain from yesterday has resulted in a flood of people coming by to see the ship today. For eight straight hours we welcomed a steady stream of visitors, all excited to walk about the decks of a living, breathing tall ship. The kids were fascinated with the bounty on the hatch (our ship store) while the adults seemed simply amazed that the crew actually live, work and play on board. We had a number of people return for a second look and plenty of inquiries about the trainee and apprentice programs. So much so that we contemplated the idea of a ship check looking for stowaways! During the organized chaos we also said goodbye to five of our crew members and hello to twenty-one new ones. Talk about a crazy, busy day. Overall our stay for the tall ship festival in Philly/Camden was a huge success.
